A Ghost of a Chance: Hey, You Again. {TAG: Miriam} →
“Yeah, Next weekend should be okay.” he said, knowing that he didn’t have anything planned for the foreseen future. “I’d like that alot.” he said, nodding. “Wow, a summer job though. That’s great. I hope you get it.” He smiled. “I’m sure you will though.” He bobbed up and down a bit as he floated in his spot. “I should try finding my way back to Lyonessa anyway I guess.”“Thank you.” She tilted her head, smiling. “Oh, yes. I hope you’ll be able to find your way back to Lyonessa. And please be careful.” She said, feeling concern for him. “I’ll see you then, Andy.” She waved to him before turning to head to her dorm room.
“I’ll be fine. It’s not like I can die again.” Andy said, waving back as she turned to leave. He didn’t want anyone to feel concerned about him, especially if it wasn’t needed. “I’ll see you then, Miriam.” He said, waiting a few moments before turning in the general direction of the exit, going back to the high school.

I just remember that in 6th grade I was obsessed with writing stories about depressed girls…They included alot of crying and the girl feeling trapped and now that I look back at them I shudder…
Yeah…I was an emotional little preteen.

“Meh, It’s fine.” He shrugged again. He was used to not being seen. “That’s a nice way of thinking though. You’re a rare one. Kindness is a gem.” His eyes sparkled slightly during the compliment. “Studying. Yeah, I’ve been doing alot of that recently too.” he said, not too happy about it. “Though summer is soon enough right?” He really wasn’t sure when that began, but he couldn’t imagine the school year wasn’t too far from ending with it nearly being June already. “I guess I shouldn’t interrupt you from that.” he said with a slight sigh. “But I guess we’ll have to do that hanging out another time then if now isn’t appropriate.”“Yeah, but I don’t think I’m going to rest that much during the summer. Recently I’ve been applying for a summer job” She said. “Yeah, I guess we can do that.” She nodded. “I’m sorry if we can’t have more of our conversation today. But, if you want to, we can continue it whenever we’re free. Maybe next weekend?” She asked him.

“I just meant that’s what it felt like.” He frowned softly. “because you know, I was ignored.” He gave one last glance at a passing student. “But it doesn’t matter.” His expression turned more cheery as he looked to Miriam. “Anyway, I was just trying to ask for directions. I’m in Lemuria right? I assumed that anyway.” He shrugged. “What are you up to?” he asked.“Oh.” She held onto her face with shock. “Oh my…I’m so sorry that you feel that way. I understand how you feel.” She released her face, using her hand to rub on her arms as she give him a sad look. “Alot of people don’t think it matters, but I think it does. Everyone deserves to be seen, at least that what I think.” She explained with a small smile.
“Yes, this is Lemuria.” She answered him, looking around in the halls. Then returning her attention to Andy. “Well, I just gotten out of classes, and going to my dorm to study.”
